Nina Finlayson
Nina Finlayson was a founding director when Buzz was formed in 2001. She came to market research after completing a Commerce Degree (major Marketing) at the UNSW.
Nina has over 18 years experience in qualitative research, and has formed ongoing relationships with a broad range of blue chip clients throughout her career. This has seen her talk to a vast range of consumers in an equally broad range of situations and settings.
Clients appreciate Nina’s ability to provide detailed feedback that includes both consumer insight and clear strategic recommendations.
Nina started her career with Kaleidoscope (one of the first specialist qualitative agencies in this market) in 1993 and left there 7 years later as a Divisional Director. In that time she led thinking on research methodologies, testing approaches, writing papers and sharing thinking with the market research community through various conferences.
When she is not working Nina enjoys spending time with her family, socialising, playing tennis and reading.
Natalie Rowland
Natalie has over twelve years experience as a qualitative specialist. Natalie has a commerce degree from UNSW with majors in Marketing and HRM and completed an MA in Social Inquiry at UTS in 2007. She is a full member of the Australian Market and Social Research Society as well as being a member of the Association for Qualitative Research (UK).
Natalie currently services clients her research agency but fortunately makes herself available in a freelance capacity for a select few research companies, including Buzz.
Prior to beginning freelancing in Sept 2004, Natalie worked as an Account Director for Heartbeat and with Galileo Kaleidoscope. She also worked in the UK with a specialist research group known at the time as Informer. She completed her research traineeship with CM Research, now known as TNS, between 1996-1999.
Over her career Natalie has conducted many qualitative research projects including studies regarding brand identity, positioning & proposition development & evaluation.
She has worked with a range of methodologies from video ethnography, mobile diaries & cultural probes, accompanied shops, to more traditional modes such as focus groups and depth interviews in home or offices.
Natalie has experience working across a range of demographics from kids and teens, mums & dads, grandparents, small business owners through to senior corporate stakeholders.
Will Cordukes
Will was a founding director of Buzz and is currently lending his considerable talents to Buzz on a consulting basis.
Will completed a Commerce degree (maj marketing) form the UNSW. Since then, Will has had over 16 years experience as a qualitative research specialist and worked both here and in the UK on the full range of categories and industries.
He worked closely with Nina for over 9 years and has been closely involved in the development of the Buzz approach.
He is a master storyteller and uses his skills to portray a vivid consumer story in print and video form.
When he is not working Will enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, watching live music and reading.
